I paint imaginary landscapes to portray vast distances. My landscapes involve the depiction of an overall visual journey to an undefined destination in an ethereal setting.

I use a simplistic linear technique to create non-aggressive and non-confrontational images. My paintings are my attempt to depict an aura of peace and tranquility.

I draw and paint variations of thickness and density of line to create depth, and space and my lines define detail in objects. The colors and values used further accentuate subjects and linear space. I do not attempt perfection of linear perspective. I paint cloud formations, water bodies and land masses. The earth and sky flow and float. This separates subjects and unifies space. The point of view and distorted scale create spacial zones and accentuate objects.

I have developed this concept over years of interest and study of asiatic art, while being raised by professional artists, and a lifetime of exposure to western concepts that are different to eastern thought.

I paint with watercolor to create meaningful images for the viewers enjoyment and hope they share in my painting experience of peace and tranquility.
