Spring arrives - fritillaria have bloomed.
These flowers come in various colors, including deep purples, yellows, and whites. The most famous species, Fritillaria meleagris , often called the snake’s head fritillary, features a striking purple and white checkered pattern. This species is native to Europe and thrives in damp meadows and woodland areas. It's hard to replicate the beauty of these dainty blossoms but I may have to try.
